Warhammer 40k Raven Guard Models – These guys have been sitting, prepared, on or near my picture desk for like a year and a half! So while I’m shaking off 30k projects in the background, I thought these guys were done. This unit is “Hellblasters”, Primitive Space Marines from the GW Warhammer 40k setting. They are multi-part plastic models, painted in my interpretation of the colors of the Raven Guard Chapter, accentuated with embossed Raven Guard accents from one of the relevant accessory kits.
I tried to “tend” the vibe with this guy, but in the end, with the corner of his head, he almost looks more confused about whatever he’s about to blow…which can’t be right. Space Marine!

As always, I try to use a “beakie” style helmet on the server, even in the Primary kit.

These newer, larger plastic Space Marine kits tend to offer several variations on the main weapon – in this case, a plasma incinerator of some kind. These models, with cables connecting the extra power arms to the auxiliary unit added to the backpacks, are the heaviest/difficult variant of the gun to carry. So these particular crews are less mobile, but their weapons are more likely to damage heavily armored enemies, some useful variety for my 40k Caveo Corvo (although I find the “Eradicators” much more useful.
I’ve been building and building these guys for quite some time now, and finding Hellblasters to be useless in games, they haven’t gotten any paint. until Anyway, I think it’s a good idea to try and appease the Gods as a hobby, every so often, by painting some long-suffering figures, and I’m looking to expand my available 40k Raven Horde force at the 2,000 point level. so well are these painted.
And, as heavily armed, scary space soldiers with terrifying guns, the guys look the part, and are well suited to the development of new (in relative terms) space marine models. Hopefully you’ll be able to beat some heretics or xenos to bits on the gambling board soon. The Raven Guards were the 19th Legion of the original Space Marine Legions. Their Primarch is Raven Heart. Their protocol is Delirium (first named Lycaeus), a moon that orbits in the Hive World of Kiavahr.
Horus’ Horus Heresy was devastated by the Horus Horus Legion and survived only by lost resources. A special chapter in clandestine warfare, advancing secretly behind the enemy’s lines, and striking with precision by force.
They are known to hit the weak points in the enemy’s defenses with hard and lightning strikes in important strategic areas to close the enemy. They despise the idea of a raven guard raiding their enemies at random. The chief relies heavily on his scouts to pinpoint enemy positions and scout for good drop sites. Because of the attack and the course of the art of assault Squads are also used frequently.
The Crow’s Cage is all that one would expect from a Chapter of the Sea Tract, while as much theft and sycophancy as the Aeldari. They also have a great character, completely unique to their chapter.

The Raven Guard are a supplemental Codex, being an offshoot of the Space Marine faction. An army can consist of many characters taken from both books, giving you a huge amount of variety. You will need to play BOTH hosts
The Army has an immense roster of space marine units. Knowing which units to use, take the rules of the chapter. Here are some suggestions to get you on the right track.
Raven is the iconic hero of the Horde and Chapter Master, a cloud-based meld of characters that augments Phobos and the Marine assault.
Eliminator Squads were one of the first to be trained to use the Surgical Strike capability. Beware of enemy characters.

Like all Space Marine Chapters, the core of the Primary Intercessor Troop choices are never a bad way to go.

Hordes of ravens are the adventurers’ choice of Space Marines. They have many deployment and movement based tricks and techniques that will leave your opponent off guard. With these alternate projects, Raven Guard players are able to pick up match points and fight with scornful ease. That being the case, the Raven Guard can fix all the rounders, umbilical cords, umbilical cords, all of them can take extra care because of the fraud of the Sons of Heart!

How To Play Raven Guard In Warhammer 40k 9th Edition
