At any time during the process, you can also call 1-800-827-1000 and select the option to speak with a VA representative about the current status of your claim or appeal.
Check your VA claim status online. Step 1: Go to VA.gov and click “Apply” at the top of the page.
Next, scroll down to the “Access and Manage Your VA Benefits and Health Care” section, then look under the “Disability” box and click on the link called “Check the Status of Your Claim or Appeal.”
