Mud Tires For Jeep Patriot – Hello everyone! I recently acquired a 2017 Jeep Patriot Latitude FWD. The tires that come with it are 215 60 r17. I am a courier and I have quite a few gravel roads along my route. I’ve been wanting to buy about 10 rims but I’m sure I’ll have to lift my car and now I’m looking for some tires that have a thicker tread and work well on gravel roads. For the 17 inch wheels of my jeep, I found some all-terrain tires Yokohama 215 60 17 Geolandar for about 188 pieces and some 225 65 17 Geolandar for 203 pieces I don’t know if they are compatible with any lifts / suspensions / spacers / modifications and no palm. I also saw some BF Goodrich LT tires and the size was LT225 65 17 in 208. I was wondering what would be the best option and would a BFG LT225 65 17 fit with no lift/modifications/suspension/facils and no bending? As I mentioned above, the Jeep came with 215 60 17 and I just want to be sure before I buy them. I had a chance to look at the thread, but I just want to be sure. Any info or recommendations would be greatly appreciated, many thanks in advance!

Still in the factory rims without enough compensation. I’d like to have new wheels someday, but I don’t like any of the aftermarket designs I’ve seen.

I saw one here that had the factory 18 inch wheels. It looked good, but I wasn’t sure if the problem was there or not.

Click to expand… The BFG is heavy and therefore sucks what little power the engine has. For me when looking for tires for any car I look first for the purpose of the tire, here it is A/T and second is tire weight. If there are several tires of similar weight, I look at the reviews and compare them based on how much on-road and off-road performance I want.

The BFG All Terrain in 225/65R17 eliminates tire wear, providing a smoother ride and a tougher look. If I ever get bigger tires again, I’ll buy wheels with a lower offset, but they should hold me well for the next 5 years on the factory wheels. I’ll post pics when the sun comes up.

Again, the BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2’s are mounted on 225/65R17’s with a Rough Country 2″ lift/modification kit. No flat tires. I may replace the front splitters with new Rough Country N3 struts. Holding out for other forum fans. upgrade from purchasing it.

I use Falken Wildpeak AT Trail tires and they work great. I’m the assistant chief of a volunteer fire department and a full-time paramedic, so I don’t see snow days. They got me good.
