Is Tiffany Diamond Worth It – The Tiffany Yellow Diamond is one of the most iconic pieces of jewelry in fashion history. The South African diamond was first discovered in Kimberley Mines in 1877 as a rough stone of 287.42 carats, and then bought by the founder of Tiffany & Co, Charles Lewis Tiffany in 1878 for $18,000 (with an estimated value of $30 million today).
