“Review of Super Soft Stretch Car Covers after being on my two BMWs whilst in Europe and the UK for 13 months. Both vehicles were serviced before storage with new oil and full tanks of petrol with stabilizer in the fuel. The tires inflated to 40 psi and The exhaust pipes had rodent repellant sheeting and peppermint oil on the plastic/rubber parts in the engine bay as rodent control Peppermint oil and mothballs were left in a plastic container on the floor of the rear seat area. then both vehicles were hooked up to their own CTEK battery chargers.Of course both vehicles were washed, dried and the wheels polished before the car covers were installed.
When I got back from my trip overseas and finally got the vehicles out of storage, you wonder what condition they might be in. The covers had dust on them so when I put the covers back on there were no signs of dust or water on the vehicles and the underside of the covers were dust free. Next I checked the CTEK chargers. both show fully charged batteries. Disconnect them, remove foil from exhaust pipes check engine bay pipes, fluid level and tire pressure – 36 psi only 4 psi loss.
Press the start button, resulting in an instant start note. I had to peel the rubber mats off the tires. When driving there were no flat seats, like they came out of the show room. I haven’t washed the vehicles since I took the covers off two weeks ago as they have been clean and the Australian autumn weather hasn’t rained where I live.
