Years ago I started making my own granite countertops which I absolutely love!! It’s easy to do and makes countertops shine.

It provides almost everything, except water pollution. The hard water on the granite was driving me nuts.

To start with I recommend you test your granite in a small inconspicuous spot before doing this to your hard water. I have used this trick for the past 3-4 years with no problems but every granite is different.

Then, remove the poultice, rinse with water, and buff dry with a soft cloth. See how it has affected the site, it may take up to 5 applications to remove it successfully.
