Ok, not 100%, but it makes a difference! You can use the same oil method on leather furniture, but because there are so many different types of leather, you should do a stain test first to make sure it won’t stain. A light leather can really soak it up and darken it.

After you have done your stain test, spread a little olive oil very sparingly and evenly on a cloth or rag. Do not leave a large amount of oil in one place for very long. You want to work quickly and spread a small amount of oil around as evenly as possible so it doesn’t have a chance to absorb too deeply. The key is to use more elbow grease than oil on leather. A little goes a long way!
