Clean any food waste from the sink. Then, pour a lot of baking soda into the sink with a sponge. (If your sink is dirty you can add a drop of dish soap to the sponge.)
Tub Chip, Scratch, And Crack Repair
Avoid the sink using a small tissue. Pour the vinegar onto your sponge and into the sink. Use a sponge to wipe and clean the soda from the sink. Rinse the sink with water.
Your metal sink (or tub) should be clean by now, but you may still have some scratches and marks on the surface. That’s right, because it’s time to break out the Kohler Cast Iron Sink Cleaner. This is a miracle in a bottle!
This is the cleaner recommended by our kitchen designer. Honestly, if I hadn’t known about this cleaner, I would have been frustrated with our farmhouse sink long ago because it gets scratches from metal pots and pans. Pour a small amount directly on the marks and discolorations. Use a clean, dry towel to blot the cleaner into the stain.

Rinse the sink with water and lo and behold…the stains are gone! If you look closely you can see that the scars are still in the water, but they have disappeared.
