Click to expand… Because they’re LT rated tires, they feel a little firmer than stock all-season tires on the road. There is less road noise when new. I’ve experienced KO2 before in other vehicles, and it does get a little louder after a while, but it’s not terrible. It was very resistant to funk, so I felt a lot more at ease.

I installed a 275/55/r20 Wrangler Duratrac on my 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland V6. It fits perfectly, is friction-free at any ride height, and looks great. It only lost 2 mpg, which is worth it considering its off-road looks and confidence.

For those of you still looking at tire pressure recommendations, I found a site that uses load ratings/tables to convert between OEM and larger/smaller tires. Tire pressure calculator. I also wrote to Continental and asked them for recommendations. They also received the same answer. The recommendation for my TerrainContact A/T from both sources was 30 psi. I always add a few psi so I get 33 or 34 psi. We also used AlfaOBD to change the TPMS pressure warning to 33 psi (from 36 psi).

Oh, sorry for the late reply. My tires are 275/55-20. I didn’t have to modify anything to get them to fit. There is no friction with KO2 at all. However, it seems to be a bit narrow compared to other brands.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience using tire chains with these tires. Even if you have snow tires, some CA chain checkpoints require you to have chains on your vehicle. Any feedback or comments would be helpful. Do you think low profile cables with suspension would be ok for the OR1…?
