So, I thought I’d try it myself in hopes of getting a decent look from 3 feet away. I used a kit made by Scratches Happen. The kit had everything I needed, and the instructions were very detailed. Before and after pictures are attached. I agree with the result. No doubt someone more patient and with a lighter touch than me would have achieved a better result. Repair kit

@dandaman, I stepped back 3 feet from my screen, and sure enough, it looked great! Kidding of course. You did a great job! I have used the ‘Scratches Happen’ paint kits and found them to be very high quality, with a good color match. My only problem was the “gradient” of the repair, which is very difficult. However, I would highly recommend them.

I agree that “feathering” was difficult for me especially since my transition when painting is to add more paint – not good. I thought the paint match was pretty good and the level was pretty good until I applied the clear coat probably because the scratch was on the “crease” in the bumper. Thanks for your feedback.
