Stickers must always be stored in cool, dry places away from sunlight. Before application, the foils should be adapted to the required humidity and temperature conditions: indoor climate 40% to 50% relative humidity and temperature +18° to +22°C (+65°F to +72°F) ideal. If the above conditions change radically, dimensional changes of the protective paper may occur. The consequence would be insufficient flatness of the self-adhesive material and dimensional deviations of the pieces. All stickers that are packaged in a box should be placed on a flat surface for at least 24 hours before application.

Carry out the application process in a dusty environment, in the wind and in a space or room without direct sunlight. The ambient temperature should be +18°C (65°F) or higher to achieve the desired bond strength. Any dust particles trapped under the stickers will create visible small air bubbles.

Thoroughly clean vehicle surfaces before applying vinyl decals. Carry out a general cleaning of the vehicle with common cleaning agents. Clean the glued surfaces additionally with IPA isopropyl alcohol (isopropanol). This will most effectively remove all residues of previously used cleaning agents, wax and dirt from painted surfaces. Dry surfaces thoroughly, use hot air blower to remove residual moisture.

Solvent residues from improper cleaning or recent painting can lead to the formation of gas bubbles between the film and the substrate. Make sure the stickers are only applied to completely dry and cured surfaces. As a rule, expect a minimum drying time of three weeks.

In general, you will process laminated vinyl decals like regular polymer PVC wraps for car wraps. If you are unsure of your experience with the proper application of decals, contact your local window paint store for installation assistance.

Carry out the application process at the ambient temperature indicated above. During the first 24 hours after adhesion, avoid significant temperature changes. If the temperature still drops, we recommend treating the decals with hot air from a heat gun.

Place the foil decals face down on a flat surface. Pull out only as much silicone paper as needed to begin assembly. Always pull the silicone paper out of the foil, never the other way around.

Place the glued piece of foil on the vehicle and secure it with tape or leftover foil.

Depending on the size of the cut to be mounted, the silicone paper can be completely removed before gluing or gradually during the gluing process.
