Pour water over the surface of the scratch and rinse the car well. If using a hose, make sure the speed is not too high.
Use car wash soap or liquid detergent to wash the scratch and scrub it with a microfiber cloth or soft sponge. Do not use powdered detergent as it may scratch more when cleaning with it.
This solution works well for superficial scratches that have barely scraped off the clear coat of paint. Dirt often collects in these surface-level scratches, making them look worse than they are. So a simple gentle wash with liquid detergent and a microfiber cloth should do the trick temporarily.
Depending on the size of the scratch, add toothpaste to the microfiber cloth and rub the scratches in a circular motion. Make sure the toothpaste is a smooth paste (without small granules) to avoid further scratches during the cleaning process.

This method is quite effective for surface level scratches that are little more than tiny scratches but less than scratches that have reached the actual color of the car.
Spray a generous amount of WD-40 directly onto your car’s scratches and let it sit for 50-60 seconds.
Take a soft microfiber cloth and slowly (but firmly) wipe it down along the scratched bits to really get the product in. You should see the scratches begin to fade.
