Yes, all Indian nationals traveling to Singapore require a visa; unless you are in possession of a diplomatic or official passport. The visa process is unfortunately not as simple as in many other countries; unless you live in a metro city.
Indian tourists can apply for a Singapore tourist visa that allows a stay of up to 30 days with a validity of 2 years. That said, it is up to the immigration authorities to decide whether to issue a single entry or multiple entry visa.
Although the visa application process for Singapore is online, this does not mean that tourists can simply log in and apply themselves. The visa application must be processed through authorized agents. Unlike countries like UAE, Malaysia etc which have assigned this task to VFS, Singapore has authorized travel agents to do this. This is where the process becomes complicated as there are no standard procedures. Travel agents may charge between Rs.1900 and Rs.8000 per person for obtaining the visa. The visa application fee is SGD$30 which is approximately Rs.1500. Agents can charge anywhere more than Rs.300 in service charges.
