American Express Auto Insurance Coverage – American Express card products in select markets come with travel insurance that kicks in when certain travel expenses are paid with them.
Some countries now require arriving passengers to have proof of insurance in case of Covid-19 infection-related health expenses, and I wrote a piece last week on how to get one.

A reader commented on the piece and left a link on how to request one from AXA without having to call or email. You can request the certificate here.

There is a warning on the page that you must contact AXA if you need a certificate stating that expenses related to Covid-19 are included.
The certificate that comes by filling in the information on AXA’s website has no information about the potential coverage limit that many countries require to apply for a visa or right now because of Covid-19.
However, it is good that you can get some proof in a few minutes instead of contacting AXA and waiting for a day.

One thing that makes American Express credit cards so popular is that they pair top rewards with great benefits. While purchase rewards are often the center of attention, they’re just one part of the many benefits that come with a Blue Cash Preferred® card from American Express. What makes this everyday card one of the best credit cards on the market is that you also qualify for a number of benefits that can also help offset the $95 annual fee (see rates and fees). This includes exclusive discounts and purchase protection. Let’s break down the amount of Blue Cash Preferred® Card from American Express benefits offered to all cardholders.
Amex Platinum Trip Delay Insurance: My Experience
At the heart of all good cashback cards are the purchase rewards – and the Blue Cash Preferred® card from American Express has plenty of them. With this everyday card, you will earn cash rewards in the following categories:
When it comes to rewards, finding good gas credit cards is pretty easy. But finding one that also rewards you for daily purchases in three other main categories is not. The US gas and supermarket rewards are a strong one-two punch, with the flow and transit benefits being the top for this credit card. Terms apply.
In fact, in the world of grocery credit cards, it’s hard to beat the Blue Cash Preferred® Card from American Express benefits. Considering the spending limit, the 6% cashback bonus category is good for up to $360 in rewards on supermarket purchases alone. Keep in mind that it only applies to actual US supermarkets – grocery purchases at big box stores and other retailers not specifically coded as a grocery store will not earn 6% back. Terms apply.
You can redeem your cashback rewards as a statement on your Blue Cash Preferred® card from your American Express account. You must earn at least $25 in cashback rewards to redeem your rewards for a statement. (Note that reward redemptions cannot be used to pay the minimum credit card payment requirement.)
