Ford Ranger 4wd Long Travel Kit (+4.5)
The lift kit retains factory ride quality, steering geometry and CV axle angles. All load bearing brackets are laser cut from 0.25″ sheet steel.
This steering lift replacement includes cross members for lower control arms, plus brackets to lower the torsion bar cross member.
Expect the factory front drive shaft to last no more than 20K miles; Superlift offers an extra strong CV style replacement shaft.

When lifted, the life of the front drive shaft is significantly reduced; expect a lifespan of 25k to 30k miles. The Superlift replacement shaft part # 9636 is a more “lift friendly” double gimbal design. Also on some of the later Rangers models, the main shaft can come into contact with the exhaust. Superlift’s drive shaft gets the necessary clearance.
